Signal amplifiers expand the boundaries of the protected area and give even more possibilities to place security system devices. By connecting all or some of the devices1 to ReX 2, you ensure the security and automation of a business centre, a large estate, a warehouse or a large factory.
Five signal amplifiers can be used in Ajax system to extend the range of the radio network up to 35 km2 2. Events and alarms are transmitted instantly and the first snapshot of photo verification arrives at a monitoring centre within 10 seconds3.

ReX 2 works with motion detectors from MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor. When activated, they take a series of pictures that help assess the situation in the building. As a result, patrols are less likely to be sent out unnecessarily and customers have less to worry about.

Guaranteed confirmation of alarms and photo verification

To ensure reliable communication, we have equipped ReX 2 with four antennas and support with two proprietary radio protocols: Jeweller and Wings. Jeweller is responsible for the transmission of commands, events and alarms, while Wings guarantees the transmission of visual data packets. Ajax's two-way radio communication uses frames to synchronise device communication sessions, authentication to prevent spoofing and encryption to prevent data theft.
